Democrat Hoax level Poison your husband and blame orange man!
Woman Who Blamed Trump after Giving Her Husband Fish-Tank Cleaner Now Under Investigation for Murder

The Washington Free Beacon, which first reported that Wanda was a “prolific” Democratic donor and that she had a troubling relationship with her husband that included a previous domestic assault charge, revealed Tuesday night that Mesa City Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation into the death of Gary, and requested recordings of the Free Beacon’s interviews with Wanda.

"Wanda's most recent contributions to Democratic causes came on Feb. 26 and 28. They went to the 314 Action Fund, a Democratic political action committee that describes itself as "the largest pro-science advocacy organization committed to electing scientists" and aims to "promote the responsible use of data driven fact based approaches in public policy.

The group has been highly critical of Trump's coronavirus policies in recent weeks. In fact, on its Facebook page, the group slammed the Trump administration for the couple's actions, writing, "There are real consequences to the White House throwing its approval behind an experimental drug trial before it's time."

Someone should do a study on why the left is so prone to making criminal level false accusations.

When did he start? I wonder if this is a longer term resurgence of the OP here or just a shit post and run.

Next up a deeply made up piece about how democrats are infecting themselves with covid-19 and dying on purpose to make Trump look bad.

Damn, that article was so compelling I was about to ask where I could get a cheap lobotomy job so I could qualify for a free ride on the Trump Train to Never Never Land or was it Hooterville? Green Acres?

Anyway, I was about to you know, get all riled up and dive down into that 'ol rabbit hole that Trump dug for himself and his cult but my wifey explained to me she needed me for shopping cart duty at Costco so I gave up that chance for being free of thought and hair triggered on emotions.

1. As the original author of the Trump dossier I would think the OP would be hesitant to use the Free Beacon as a source. Maybe they are the real Democratic partisans.

2. We are to believe this woman is so much of a Democratic plant she is willing to poison her husband and herself just to make a point?

3. If the OP is such a fan of Trump medicine why hasn't he taken his hydroxy-Lysol cocktail. Go ahead asswipe, I dare you

4. The OP is a piece of shit and this thread should be locked.

Meanwhile, in reality:

This investigation is not being treated as a homicide. The death of Gary Lenius has not been ruled a homicide at this time,” Mesa Police Department spokesman Jason Flam told NBC News.
Flam said the department's homicide unit is involved because it "investigates all reported deaths within the City of Mesa” — from deaths related to car accidents to the elderly in hospice.
“It’s still an active, ongoing investigation,” he said.
On Tuesday, the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative outlet, published an article reporting that a “homicide investigation” into Wanda Lenius was underway. Flam called that report, which has circulated widely in other conservative outlets, “inaccurate.”

This really is rather simple. The NR article posted facts, if anyone actually read it. The death is being investigated, and the Free Beacon's recorded interview has been turned over to the police.

That's it. You guys sure do excite easily.

I do believe you are being your normal deliberately obtuse self here.

Twitter is chockablock with people like the OP. It is dismaying to see them grasp at any answer, no matter how improbable or stupid, to avoid the real answer that is staring them dead in the eye.

When they move on from drinking properly diluted Flavor-Aid to directly mainlining or snorting the orange Kool-Aid full strength...strange things can happen.

Did you ever think we would reach this level of derp growing up? I saw a meme that said we always thought mass ignorance was simply due to a lack of information. Now we have the internet and can conclude - Nope, that wasn't it.

Wow - OP got taken down pretty quickly; thank you Facts & Reality!

But, let's recap; a liberal is being accused of murdering her husband and trying to blame Trump for it - because Trump is the true victim in all of this (everything in life and reality) and he needs to be constantly defended, protected and championed.

I said it before and I'll say it again; Donald Trump has a legitimate and actual propaganda machine. Some of those cogs are on these forums. Trump is in the wrong on many situations - everything from fraud to high crimes to treason to sexual assault to rape to pedophilia to marrying a former prostitute. And, there is a loud voice constantly proclaiming his innocence... with everything and anything. Even when he states specific and clear words - he immediately proclaims he didn't say them and there is a sudden and instantaneous vocal message that he is indeed in the right and being wronged.

There ARE cult followers and members - but, there is clearly a force that is being paid to constantly paint him in a glorious light or as some misunderstood victim.

All politicians have propaganda people, and you have to admire that his is actually effective. But I assure you the chances that anyone posting this tripe on our forums is paid, is very low. My confidence comes from how many people I know IRL that post this crap on their social media. Trump's Propaganda crew simply gives my friends, relatives, and acquaintances, the framework they need to reassure one another they did not vote for horrible people.

Why not just delete obvious propaganda threads like these? They only serve to legitimize the garbage being spread. This thread now shows up on the first or second page of google search results if use a few of the terms from the title. Simply locking the thread isn't enough.

Wasn't she hospitalized with her husband? Seems like a bad way to murder someone if you're going to possibly take yourself out too.

Yes, according to the initial news reports she was in critical care. Maybe she was faking it.

This really is rather simple. The NR article posted facts, if anyone actually read it. The death is being investigated, and the Free Beacon's recorded interview has been turned over to the police.

From the linked article. Prolly murder. Heh, I'll wait for the investigation to complete.
Wanda reportedly told the Free Beacon that they each consumed “one teaspoon and some soda” each, which represents at least four times the lethal limit. They both started having severe symptoms within 30 minutes.

“I started vomiting,” she told NBC News last month. “My husband started developing respiratory problems and wanted to hold my hand.”

Both were taken to the hospital but the man could not be resuscitated.

The Free Beacon interviewed some of Gary’s friends who said the story didn’t add up.

“What bothers me about this is that Gary was a very intelligent man, a retired (mechanical) engineer who designed systems for John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, and I really can’t see the scenario where Gary would say, ‘Yes, please, I would love to drink some of that Koi fish tank cleaner,'” one of his close friends reportedly told the Free Beacon. “It just doesn’t make any sense.”

The Free Beacon found campaign finance records show that Wanda Lenius had given thousands of dollars to Democratic groups and candidates over the past two years, most recently to the 314 Action Fund. The fund promotes itself as the "pro-science resistance" and has criticized the Trump administration's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The newspaper also reported that Wanda Lenius was charged with domestic abuse assault in 2001 after she allegedly hit her husband and swung a mounted birdhouse at him. Gary Lenius declined to cooperate, testifying that he was not injured or placed in fear of injury. His wife was exonerated.

When the Free Beacon asked Wanda Lenius if she had a conversation with her husband before consuming the laced-soda, she reportedly said: "No. I mean, it was really kind of a spur of the moment thing.”

It's quite clear that the intent of the article is to get its readers to imagine a conspiracy related to the political leanings of Wanda Lenius in murdering her husband. Firstly, the article presents being investigated by homicide detectives with the implication that the PD thinks it's a homicide, and that has been blown out of the water above. Secondly, there really isn't any evidence that their political leanings relate at all to the chloroquine poisoning. Presenting them together in such a fashion is inviting the inference that one follows from the other. That's the intent, and clearly we can see the effects of that in the OP. National Review is also quite sneaky in sourcing the word "prolific" from the clickbait title which then details contributions including to groups with varying missions (e.g. countering resistance to incorporating science into policy making, supporting pro-choice female candidates) which are not explicitly partisan in mission although at least in today's political climate obviously lean Democrat. She also contributed to Clinton and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Well I say details. Actually they omit probably the most important one: magnitude of contribution, instead using the vague language "thousands of dollars". Would you call someone who gave, in total, $2200 to political campaigns or policy interest groups over the last 2 years a prolific Democratic donor? I sure as hell wouldn't, but of course I don't know the number is $2200 and not $72000 either, except that there really isn't any good reason to avoid being specific unless they intend to imply something is more significant than it seems.

Basically, it's downright dirty. Not including any technically false statements when taken individually doesn't make something appropriate.

I weary of this drivel coming from the space-alien, bible-thumping, Satan-worshipping, half-witted and paranoid Right.

Today, I declare my exuberance for having retrieved a friend I thought I lost two years ago. In a sense, I have to say his justifications were stern but valid.

As armchair literary scholars, we'd been discussing the real meaning behind Mark Twain's "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court". Twain wrote it at some time around the Civil War. The idea of it was to make post-Bellum ante-Bellum confederate losers eat their own shit -- cause them to unwittingly laugh at themselves. The Ante-Bellums had all been goo-gah about the novels of Sir Walter Scott -- the days of chivalry, jousting and stupidity. Twain knew that his novel's title would attract their interest.

You see, at the end of the story is a very serious sequence in which the Yankee -- known as "The Boss" -- has built Gatling guns in 11th-century early Medieval England. For various reasons in the plot, all the knights of King Arthur turned against the Boss, and he slaughtered them with the Gatling guns, leaving a heaping pile of stinking dead corpses in chain mail and armor. Think about the parallel with Gettysburg.

So I suggested to my friend that we could have a "Fake Rush Limbaugh" rally, to occur in a nice, green valley surrounded by cliffs and hills, where we could mount those Gatling guns and kill all the space-aliens and their families and friends.

He dismissed me, speaking of my terrible homicidal thoughts.

But -- we're talking to each other again. I suppose I'm wiser for the experience.

The Trump Base isn't wiser for anything. You've got to be kidding me about this latest attempt to distort simple news fact.

What a bunch of . . . space-alien diseased-brain assholes . . . I still want to use that William Holden script-line from "The Wild Bunch" when they enter the bank in their dough-boy uniforms, the camera zooms to a close-up of Holden's face as he looks around at the old ladies and towns-folk come to do their business. And he says "If they make a move . . . . Kill 'em!" And that's a real twist at the very beginning of the movie, I must say . . .

I hope you saw the other article posted in which the police explicitly stated that this is NOT a homicide investigation.

Anyone worked out the OPs intermittent posting habit yet?
Regular forum vacations?
Only allowed internet privileges in his secure accommodation for good behaviour?
Occasionally gets day release?
No internet in his backwoods compound and he posts on his trips to town to purchase ammo and wood alcohol?

If that were true, propaganda wouldn't be so effective. The original article is now plastered across dozens of websites (this one included) which only legitimizes it to many that won't bother reading the rebuttal.

What part of confirmation bias is confusing you? Take a poll of how many here bought into this nonsense, and you will have your answer. Only those that want it to be true, will think it is. Oh, and the really dumb. But if we are going to try to protect the really dumb from bad info, it will require taking away all forms of communication. Because the dumb will always be dumb and easily duped.
