Hi all,

I have the Asus A8N-SLI with AMD A64 3200+ with Coolermaster 534 case.

Is it efficient?
actually i am looking for a budget watercool or even HSF if it is better than watercooling.

any suggestions?

I have a r120, and I dont know what to say about the performance. When I took it out of the box, the lapping is horrible, the whole copper piece that makes contact with the cpu is very badly scratched. And I am lazy, and have yet to lap it.
So remember, you may have to lap it before you put it on.

cheap and watercooling shouldnt be in the same sentence. But to answer your question, i have used these guys in cube cases. there hella lot better then the shuttle system, and also hands down the best for x-pack.

Dont expect these guys to be that much greater then say a ninja or big typhoon. Heat pipe technology kicks butt! But they will give u the quiet you want and enough cooling for a moderate, and i say moderate overclock.

My PC-60s has 2 intake 80mm fans that cool my hdds while providing air for case at same time. The LLs has the best designed cases, so maybe that's why I never noticed this before, until I read this thread. I just took it for granted while trying to make my case quieter with Yate Loon fans. The case sell for $99 at Newegg and the YL sell for $4.99 on eBay.
Wow, the prices for hdd cooling devices.
I quess I got lucky when I got LLs.

The thermaltake silent water is around $100. Its quiet, and it preforms better than the aquagate (in reviews).
I think the case with my aqaugate was that its just terribly rough on the bottom. And i bought it new, so it shouldnt have been.
It would probably preforms better for you, but I suggest you get a Thermaltake Silent water.

I got the Aquagate R120 today.
I know there are better, but i got this for a reasonable price .. for $60..

anyways, i have some questions..
i can turn the nob to choose the speed of the bigger fan which is installed on on the rear.. is there a fan for the cpu too?

I found that it drops the temperature for around 8 to 9C. even after i push the fsb from 220 to 225. (AMD A64 3200+)

I believe this liquid cooling is at least better than any HSF combo cooling.

has anyone seen any leaking yet?

questions again...
will you feel the liquid moving when it is on?

i mean when i turn on my system, i can only see the rear fan(120mm) is running, then everything is dead silence..
