AQUA@Homer: problems with certain test WUs.

I am crunching AQUA@Home on 7 of my computers. One of them is getting test-WUs (D-Wave's Test Application v0.14). This computer has crunched those WUs properly, they validated OK and obtained ... yes you read it correctly - 8,172,593.58 credits and 2,360,869.69 credits = more than 9.5 Million credits in 2 WUs.

That is most certainly an error and I have posted about this on the AQUA-forum. However, other crunchers are also getting these WU and these credits.

I really don't believe that I have built that computer to a quantum cruncher - I wish though that I had one ...

I think (and hope) that this errors will be corrected and the correct number of credits given.

I will not quit the project - it is too much fun! But: What comes up (my stats) will come down (also my stats). 😉
 
I'm guessing that those WUs are needed for their next paper, which is rumored to be a lulu! They might have inflated the credits to get them done as soon as possible.
