Hi all,

Aqua seems to run out of work every now and then. They did so earlier in the week. On their site they show Cuda and non-cuda WU availability. There seems to be CPU stuff available, but I am not getting any. Not sure if the numbers on the site are swapped or my preference settings are wrong.

I don't want the GPU WU's as I had a little trouble with them a while back and prefer to run GPUGRID stuff.

Any ideas as to why my BOINC is not recieving work? Below is the message BOINC gives me on an Update...

Any help please?

On your account preferences page you can set to CPU, GPU or both. You might check to see that you have CPU enabled.

I have been getting CPU WUs without problem, although I am letting them run out so I can do some YoYo and SIMAP.

Fred,

That is my concern. I have checked that and made sureit is enabled - GPU is off. I just don't know.

Maybe I should enable both and see what happens.

On another machine that runs Aqua, but an ATI graphics card (laptop) is tells me something to the effect that there is work, but you don't have an nvidia card.

Thanks.

😀 good one...

Not quite, but I did select "allow other applications" or whatever the wording is. that seemed to work.
