article said:
SANAA, Yemen (AP) — A Yemeni medical official says six suspected al-Qaida militants have been killed in clashes in southern Yemen.
The official says the six were killed on Tuesday in clashes in Wadi Dufas, in Abyan. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press.
Abyan Governor Saleh al-Azari said that the Yemeni army has dealt a heavy blow to al-Qaida-linked militants in the province over the past few days.
Yemen's militants have taken advantage of the country's political turmoil to seize several towns in the nearly lawless south.
Yemen has been wracked by internal conflict for months over popular protests demanding the resignation of longtime President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

looks like they are trying to pull what they did in Libya off in Yemen. I guess we better get that no fly zone up and start bombing the Yemeni government. Lols...

Saudi Arabia spends about > 10% of their GDP on defense, maybe they will move in and crush the rebels for Yemen. Drafting their unemployed into a zerg army could help with their unemployment issues as well. Yeh, wishful thinking. I have a feeling that NATO or America will end up paying to put down Al-Qaeda militants in that country eventually.

why would we pay to out them down in Yemen when we've been arming and strengthening them in Libya?
