apu vs icores

But i m an amatuer and need an info about benchmark status i.e.
i want a comparison between i7 740m and apu 1ghz being released

or
what gigs of i7= gigs of apu
and
\what about its graphics card power

Do you mean Sandy bridge, or AMD's Bulldozer. Both are APUs. (Though, I really don't like that phraseology, Give me my arithmetic processing unit dang it )

As for the graphics processor in either, they are minimal. They aren't designed to be high performance graphics cards.

ZATAC =AMD APU RELEASING IN MARCH
Thank you for replying but i want to know if zatac can beat i7 core if taken upon factors such as gigaflops per second,temperature of the core,processing HD data,etc.

Ummm...you mean Zacate?

Zacate's a netbook core. Core i7 is a high-end desktop/laptop core. They'll have comparable HD processing, but the difference in raw CPU power is like night and day. They aren't meant to be compared.

I7 will destroy Zacate over and over again in almost any test. We're talking a low power 18W chip designed for netbooks and Atom competition against Intel's high end product.

Bulldozer isn't an APU either, it's an 8 core cpu with no graphics engine.

AMD's Fusion will always beat Intel on the graphics side of things because they have the people from ATI working for them, and Intel graphics are...well, Intel graphics. As for general processor performance, I don't know.

Absolutely! Zatac will not only hit 10gigs, but it will probably get close to 1.21 jiggawatts.

Not sure how IPC would compare to Intel Core i7.

If we look at the Anandtech E-350 Benchmarks Here it appears Bobcat has ~90% IPC of AMD K8, aka Socket 939/AM2.

I have the confusion over this netbook chip and i7 because i have been confused by the raw processing data processing speeds on several sites which even compare i5 wtihh this zacate.
I also now have a doubt about the load it can take i.e if i want COD:black ops to berun on it ,will zacate 1gigz support it because the reviews available on net show that a high end processor is too timid in front of it.

blops isn't going to work well on zacate. especially the 1 ghz version
