AMD-K7(tm) Processor, MMX, 3DNow, ~548MHz - Aptiva.

This is the machine I have. Can I upgrade the processor? I would like to keep the same mother-board.

Why would you want to keep the same motherboard in that machine...ITs soooo not worth it. Invest in another computer, build it yourself. If you're not ultra computer literate and know about chipsets, Socket Sizes and processor codenames you'd be making a big mistake upgrading that.
