APT PUPIL - book vs movie thread!

so i just watched APT PUPIL and thought it was a pretty good psychological thriller kinda flick... my bro read up on it online and apparently the original stephen king book is WAY more hardcore and has a lot more detail and graphic descriptions etc... that's not extremely surprising as the movie kinda jumps right past the old dude's stories but one thing that really grasped my curiousity is the ending...

apparently the book has a very different and much more intense ending...
can anyone tell me what it is please?????


i wont ever read the book but i wanna know what the movie changed cause i thought the movie ending was decent but could have been better...

Do yourself a favor and read the book. Different Seasons is the name of the book, it contains 4 novellas and is perhaps one of the best books that King has ever written. The Shawshank Redemption, Apt Pupil and Stand by me (The Body) all come from this book. The 4th novella, Breathing method, is also a good read.
