MJ doesn't cause physical withdrawal symptoms. Its a scientific fact, so maybe your going through withdrawal's of another kind?

All I know is I'll be having presents for Christmas, no problem there for me.

If you smoke it a lot you will get withdrawals. In fact, if I remember correctly cocaine isn't very (if at all) "physically addictive." It's the mental addiction that'll get you.

I know if I don't smoke for a while I feel it

Yes MJ is mentally addictive, but the ::shiver:: was meant to signify some sort of physical ailment that he is suffering from. Most likely, being cold. Mental addiction is completely different, and isn't as much of a problem for most people. Those that can't quit heroin or crack, litterally can't quit. They would be sick as hell from it for days.

Nothing of the sort happens with MJ, and its in fact the only "illicit" drug that this can be said for.

Even alcohol, if your an alcoholic will cause physical withdrawal symptoms. And no, your wrong about coke, if someone does it enough - they will suffer from the physical symptoms as well as the mental. All the MJ withdrawal's are in your head, and are a lot easier to overcome.

Personally, I may have a sort of craving after going a couple months - but its the same kind of craving you get for sex, chocolate or simply a hamburger. Nothing that can be described as "withdrawal". Its not like Nicotine where you body and mind both fiend for it, he is just wishing he had some - on this of all days.

Speaking of which, I need to call my sister & wish her happy birthday.

She has the second best birthdate.

Second to mine, 6/9.

Yes cocaine will make you sick, but like I said I'm not sure if this is true because I always assumed otherwise.. but I read there is no chemical addiction. Nicotine and heroin are chemcial addictions, where something like marijuana can still give you harsh withdrawals because you're mentally so used to being high.

Not as bad as other drugs with it can still be present

What the hell are you talking about?

It is not a "scientific" fact, it is not a fact at all. You most certainly do suffer from withdrawl symptoms when you quit smoking cannabis, usually only if you smoke every day for a prolonged period of time.

If your body gets used to anything enough, whether it be a drug, food, or activity.. you will suffer some form of withdrawl when you quit. That's more of a "scientific fact" than your assertion.

I see the "not physically, but mentally" addicive sh!t thrown around a lot.. who fscking cares? What is the difference? Everybody is different. That's why there's so much confusion regarding it.

The physical symptoms of cannabis withdrawl for me are a nauseous, empty feeling in the gut, along with a general feeling of... blah.

My brother's physical symptoms are much different. He has no appetite for several days after he's quit, and is just generally miserable.. like you'd get with a slight cold.

I'm sure that there are some people that don't notice anything, even after prolonged use. It just depends.....

I'm as pro-pot as they come, but ... saying that you don't get addicted to a mind altering substance is ludicrous.
