THis is not a April fools joke guys read the article.. thx I expect the GTX 580 will be out in 3 to 6 months. IMO Any sooner then that, then nvidia fan boys can jump on it....

Guys read the specs,, its 2.5GB ram man they cant do 4GB like ATI 5890 if Im right .. hmmmm maybe ASUS can sandwich 2 580's together and have the worlds fastest card hehe. 3dmarks highest score ever.... hmmmm

I knew 480 was a tease.. Also I think prices will go down on both avenues... thx

2 to have 580 cores it would need to be an even bigger, different chip than the already cut down GF100(480 cores vs 512)

stop being an idiot. this is NOT real. there is no way to even come up with 580 sp on the fermi architecture. there also is not a way it would have 2560mb on a 384bit bus. it would have to be 1536mb or 3072mb.

In some ways its a bit spartan compared to the GTX 480, likely to save on power consumption!

So its a NV joke than . Like 480 fermi. A bigger chip with more memory. LOL . NV Fermi is not a good deal and now your out plugging the 580 before the 480 is released . LOL.

Either tweak is haveing a blast at home there by himself 0n fools day. Or he has to get out of house more often.

This isn't a Fools joke . I don't run the race car much because of noise . But yesterday cop stops and tells me to not run car longer than 10 min. every hour . I got pissed. Car doesn't run 1/2 hour a week. So I says to cop . Is this the way you guys really want it . He says yes and thats how it will be. I said . You people are retards. I said it loud enough so neighbor could here, one causing problems . SO what to do about night workers who think the world stops for them . The ans. 7 0 clock this morning . I went and started the race car pulled down the long driveway and left it run for 10 min. Every hour today I started it let it run 10 min. Cop come over about hour ago . I says . Whats up . He said lots of complaints . I said lies . 1 complaint. He said you followed the rules as I lad them out . I said yes I did . Than I said to him and thats how its going to be . He got pissed and drove away .
