apps @ startup

the computer is a Lenovo, windows 8.1

in task manager >>> startup i see these programs are enabled. i searched online but i found very little, and most of that is too technical for me.

by the way, as you can see, the last item on the list is a program (or programs ? ) called apps, which makes it impossible to find online.

my question is, should i disable (start up) these programs??

  1. java(tm)update scheduler - oracle

  1. hpwuschd application - hp

  1. libstartstub

  1. etd control center – elan microelectrics

  1. fmapp application

  1. delayed launcher – intel corp.

  1. hp digital imaging monitor (2) – hp

  1. apps
any suggestion would be really appreciated

in advance, thank you very much

Most of them seem legit, except maybe for the apps entry. But that also could be something legit, originating from a program installed by yourself.
You can find more details by every entry by navigating through their start-up folders located probably in program files: left click individually on every entry and select "open file location".
For example:
- etd control center – elan microelectrics >> belongs to some elan application touchpad software
- hpwuschd application - hp / hp digital imaging monitor (2) – hp >> you ended up with this probably after installing some HP printer.
- ... etc.
Yes, you need to figure out only that "apps" entry, otherwise all other entries seem legit to me judging by their name only: left click and use << properties >> and << open file location >> to further investigate the entry.
