Take the size of your unit. Multiple by ten. Now you have a rough approximation.

wrong :) it's 3mm in diameter perhaps the same as a BB

I thought he said .1 carats not a full carat.

KK

you are still confused .1 is .10 is 1/10 of a carat
and it's still 3mm

No it's not 3mm, and I doubt it's even 2mm. Have you ever seen a 1 carat diamond? Thats about the size of a BB.

I guess so. You are saying that 10 BB's equal 1 carats. Hell, that 2.5 carat you set must have been ~25 BBs huh? Your BBs must be smaller than normal.

Did you even go to the link provided? The size of a .1 carat diamond is about 3mm in diameter but a 1 carat is 6.5mm therefore ten times the carat weight only doubles the diameter.. You keep assuming that the diameter increases in direct proportion to the carat weight.

Easy there chief, I seen the links saying that 3 mm equals .1 carat. going by the same chart, a .177 BB is 4.5 mm thus making the diamond ~.36 carats.

Wow you started to do some research before you opened your mouth, nice, a bb could very well be 4.5 mm as I haven't shot one in twenty years hence I said iirc
