These docs are wayyy too much. Anything simpler? Like "Duron consumes on average load 50w etc."

Thanks for the links, Childs. The P3 documentation was vague about the maximum, but nominal seems to be just under 40W - again not "maximum" such as typically quoted. The socket A stuff told a lot more, and in a more clear manner. Page 14, Duron 60.0W max thermal power. Also interesting, max die temperature 90ºC - as long as it doesn't go above that the core will not burn up. It won't be operational anywhere near that but it will survive.
