I have a Gainward G2Pro450 with Stock Fan and Tt RamSinks. I want to get as much as possible out of this card to prolong my upgrade a little more. Can I get close to 250 by just taking the Stock fan off and applying ASII or will I need to replay the stock fan with an orb? The RamSinks were applied using the tape provided. Should I pull them and replace this with ? (how to get these off?)

Current OCing (very stable) with PowerStrip:
Core=220 max
Mem=475 max

Simplified:

How do I remove the ramsinks that I applied with tape?

What should I use to re-apply the ramsinks?

What should I use to re-apply the stock fan or recommended fan?

Thanks!

Arctic Silver Thermal Epoxy is by far the best way to reatach the ramsinks, however ASTE makes a PERMENENT connection once you apply it, it's connected forever. I think you can dilute it with ASII, but I've never tired that. Haveing never used that card I don't know how good the ramsink and stock fan are. I have a blue orb on my Radion and it works very nicely. ThermakTake has a crystal Orb out that is suposed to be very nice. I'd look into it.

For a non-permanent solution you might use some T412 Thermattach. Lapping the RAMsinks may be a good idea as long as you've got them off anyway. I've used this tape, it's great.
Better hurry, it looks like Millisec is closing it's doors. I hate to see another good cooling vendor go down in flames. :(
