Applying ICC color profile outside of Windows?

I'm using a VG248QE LCD for gaming, both for PC (of course) and my Wii U. When I play my Wii U I just switch the LCD signal from DVI to HDMI, then back to DVI when I'm done. With this said, when I use Windows and game on my PC my LCD uses a combination of its own color temperature settings alongside an ICC Profile I downloaded. I have to apply that ICC Profile through Windows via the Color Management feature. Then I have to establish that ICC Profile as being the new default. I've always been used to that specific profile's colors, temps and vibrancy.

So, when I switch away from DVI to HDMI to play my Wii U games the only color settings I get are the "default" LCD-based temp settings I use without the ICC Profile. The colors are washed out compared to how they are with the Profile, heck even compared to the superior colors that the Wii U's GamePad screen provides. I've been trying to 'replicate' that ICC Profile settings via the LCD's own settings but there's just no way I'm getting anything remotely similar (the VG248QE is fantastic on its own, but the differences between a good ICC Profiles and without one is night and day).

What I'd like to know is if there's any way possible for the ICC Profile settings that I get in Windows to be applied for HDMI mode?

Thank you.

Decent monitors have various display mode selections (eg, RGB, Adobe, Theater, etc.). One of these modes is "User". Set up that one for use with the Wii.
