Hi All,

I've decided to go back to college and work towards my Bachelors! I graduated about 3 years ago with an Associates Degree from a different college than the one I am applying for now. I'm not quite sure how to classify myself and I don't want to apply incorrectly.

I just left a message with the undergraduate admissions office hoping they can give me better insight. I'm not sure how long it will take before they can get back with me though.

Would you consider my situation to be a transfer student? Their requested information doesn't involve a college transcript of any kind, they are interested in proof of GDE or High School transcript. So that doesn't sound like me.

They also have Freshman, Non-Degree Students, International, and Second Bachelor Degree Students. These obviously don't sound like they would be the best match for me.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to heading back into school to better my life experience!

I'd apply as a transfer student if that's an option. A lot of people go the route you're taking, so they should have something regarding transferring.

If I don't hear back from them soon enough I'll start doing that. I just think its strange that their instructions for transfer students ask for a High School Transcript instead of an option for College Transcript.

I took the same route. AFAIK at most any college you'd be considered a transfer student.
