dayum. I love how your monthlies on that car are > than my mortgage.

Where are the Legos?
His monthlies are more than I paid for my first car and my second car and my third car combined. Also more than I paid for my fourth car, the pimp deluxe Brady wagon. Also more than I paid for my fifth car.

Edit: but less than I just paid for roller shades for the house. Something's f_ed up about that.

I'm applying for a car loan. Even though I'm putting 40% down and have a 826/850 credit score, the bank wants my tax returns and several months of bank statements (to prove income and source of down payment). I don't remember it being this complicated. Is it normal to ask for this much information?

I didn't run into that kind of crap with the car loan I got last week, and my credit score isn't as good as yours. It was one form, and that's it. It helps that I've been a customer of the bank for the past five years, I guess.

I wasn't buying a $200,000 supercar, though :)

You know that you can get 4 loaded Mustang GT's for the price of that car... right?

Mustangs are made out of plastic, though, and can't go around corners.

Strange.... I have NFCU and they stroked me a check for a new hellcat with zero down... I am 800+ credit score... seems rather odd..

Congrats on the new ride

I choose to look at it as the costs of doing business. :D

Plus her birthday is coming up soon anyways.
After the fact declarations of, "This is your birthday present" do not work. You're buying twice.

Yeah, you could have dragged this thing out until the birthday.
