Applying for a job... Fax Resume first or call?

The company left both a phone number and a fax #.

Should i call first? Then fax my resume.... or the other way?

Fax resume first.
Then call. Although I have yet to see a benefit of calling.

I'd only call if you have questions or a week later to see if they've made a selection maybe.
