retial jobs wont really call you unless they're desperate.. you gotta call them first, be like "hey i applied about a week ago, i was just wondering if i could set up an interview ..." blah blah

I applied there a couple years back. After about 2 weeks, I got a rejection letter in the mail.

Now is usually a bad time to find a retail job as its slower after the Christmas season.

While I was unemployed, I actually applied there as a fallback in case I didn't have anything when Unemployment Compensation ran out. I even got a call back, but I declined, as I had a real job (which worked out, thankfully) in the pipeline. If it was just last sunday, just hang in there, as they may still call you.
