Application to recover deleted data?

Anybody have a recommendation for software to recover data that has been deleted.

My friend Chris recently deleted a bunch of family pics and asked me if I had any recommendations, which I don't, so I figured I'd ask yall.

A program called recover my files may work. You can get a free trial of it. Then when you run it, if you can see those files, you have to buy it, to recover them. It helps if he doesn't use the pc much before he uses this program, so you may want to download it for him. I used it, it seemed to work pretty well for things recently deleted. Even found some files that were deleted ages ago. good luck!
