Since the new AppleTV update is being overshadowed by iOS 7.1, I figured I'd create a new thread for it.
Just installed it this morning and what an improvement in speed. What used to be a very sluggish experience has now become a more enjoyable experience due to the nice performance improvements. Launching channels and establishing a connection now is really quick whereas before it would take quite awhile to start. A new update for the "Remote" was also launched today which brings with it direct control to iTunes Radio on your iDevice. I'm using it with my iPad and it is super nice. Much better than controlling it on the AppleTV.
Anyway, just my quick impressions and after using it for a short time, I HIGHLY recommend anyone with an AppleTV to go download and install it ASAP! Very nice release!
