Apple's switch campaign

Did anyone who switched to Mac because of the switch campaign later regretted he spent money on a new Mac instead of spending it on a new PC?
 
Whoever buys a product because of ads paid for by the manufacturer deserves what they get IMHO.

I'm referring more to other products "as seen on TV" than Macs, but it applies.
 
I would be more then gladly willing to switch to apple if they would just come out with the darn consumer macbook grr
 
I just robbed a Mac owner. You'll find that most of them don't put up a fight and actually are sypathetic to you robbing them because they really understand your "feelings" and know it's not your fault you're robbing them, it's society's fault!
 
I bought a mac cause ive been wanting to experiment with one, not because of some stupid add campaign, so I dont regret it
 
Are you referring to the ads Apple put out about 10 years ago to try to convince everyone the Macintosh was superior to the PC?????

I didnt do it because of the campaign.
It happened during my experimentive year.
I had messed with many Linux distros and a Unix machine at work. (Sun Spark actually.)

I thought I should give in and try it. Not with a friends, my own machine that I could screw up.
Got a simple little G4 iBook. Overall I was not happy.
Made a couple long posts about the experience in some other x86 VS. Apple threads.
Will try to find them.

The RMA folks were very understanding.
"No problems? You just dont like it? OK, we'll take it back."
 
I might buy a mac laptop (what are they called again) or I might just get a dell laptop. But ill probably end up with one that has an AMD processor in it.

That Giani Jacklone is terrible!
