I read a few reviews online and they seemed to really like the Apple wired keyboard. So I go to Best Buy to pick one up. This is possibly the worst retail box Apple could have came up with. I see 1 pic on each side, showing the keyboard from the side. Had I not seen pics online I would have no idea what it actually looks like. This is almost as puzzling as why Apple had Macy Gray's pics on a lot of the 1st gen Touch boxes. lol

Pretty nice keyboard though.

Apple displays the keyboard with the iMacs and MacPros, so you could have tried it before you bought it. I think they do the same with the magic mouse. No reason to display it on the packaging.

The BB only had the bluetooth model on their iMac's, while it's mostly the same I wouldn't expect the people who work at Best Buy to know this lol.

I just looked at my Apple Keyboard box and you are right it is rather lacking. I would imagine though that anyone looking to buy a $50 keyboard would already know that they wanted it.

I was surprised at mine too... I get the other keyboards packaged like it's going to be thrown from a truck, and the Apple keyboard packaging is so unassuming...

um i see there is a mini picture on the bottom of the box, i am not a fan of this BT keyboard. I have the corded full keyboard at work and don't like the travel on the keys.

At home I use a Logitech DiNovo Edge

I had a Edge but I killed it, AWESOME KB! I'm enjoying this apple one, it's not close to as nice, but it's way cheaper. So I can't really compare them. I am perturbed that the play button on the function key opens up VLC and not my iTunes. I don't see anything in my system preferences to change this. I'm sure there's something somewhere, but I'm still in Windows mode. So OSX is still kinda confusing the shit out of me.
