Apple's iWatch may be unveiled this year, Bloomberg says
The iWatch rumors heat up as consumers await Apple's next new product. A timepiece seems more likely to be a profit machine than that other rumored Apple device, the iTV. (More details on news.cnet.com )

What do you think, guys?
And, Which features do you want iWatch has? Paired device? Build in rechargeable battery? Or other?

As real as the TV everyone has with iOS built into it from the past rumors...

It would be awesome if it can function as a basic phone without having to connect to iPhone. Otherwise, a total gimmick.

Anyway, can't wait for iWatch parodies on Youtube. 🙂

iWatch with iOS, GPS & Nike+ would be perfection. I love my Nike GPS Sportswatch, but I really like how Nike+ integrated with my iPod Touch. I hate that I can't use both at the same time. If this is real and it's basically a iOS watch I'll be pre-ordering hour 1.

Given Apple's demographics I think the iWatch should allow the wearer to enter age/sex/weight/etc. Then the iWatch would monitor body temp, pulse-ox, and blood sugar and give instantaneous updates on the wearer's life expectancy and predicted death date.

Maybe I'm just getting older but I don't really see a practical use for a smartwatch. Especially with the trend of bigger screens for smartphones. I dunno, maybe it reads texts and controls your iPod. Meh, I prefer the classy look of an analogue watch myself.

All in all, I won't take it into consideration. You know, a watch can't replace a phone, unless it will have a larger screen.
