I think it does - the Boss here has one, I believe.

IIRC - it should. If not, you can but adapters for them if they use the non-standard apple plugs 🙂

<-----is jealous that you get to use such a hot monitor 🙁

i wish i had the cash for a monitor like that

or even a 2405FPw

i have to settle for my 2005FPw 🙁

😛

The card needs to support the DDL DVI link. IIRC, at least one of ATI's new PC cards does, I'm not sure about Nvidia's. Search Anandtech.com for DDL.

As ViRGE said, you need dual link DVI, not dual DVI.

As far as I know, there are only two cards on the market that can run that display - one is a laptop 9700pro, the other is a special version of the 6800Ultra. Just having two regular DVI plugs won't do it.... but maybe a bios flash and an ugly hack might do it 🙂

If you are a software engineer, it is possible to write your own drivers for using dual dvi ports to power the lcd. You will need special cabling. I helped do this 4-5 years ago when I was trying to get the IBM T221 to run at full resolution (38xx by 24xx)

that thing is sweet. i played with one at the apple store for a while. if you're used to dual monitors, not having the divider in the middle is so sweet.
