Apple30" monitor stops turning on and off after a few hours of being on

Basically I turn it on, and sometimes when I leave it on too long I can't turn it off with the button on the side and I have to pull it out of that little box thing that they use.

Sometimes it stays off and I have to turn it on through replugging it the way above

anyone else had this problem? how do i Fix it?

seems like its an issue with the power adapter...take it in the apple store and tell them about your problem maybe they can just swap a new power adapter with yours and you can see if the problem still occurs.
