The patent system is out of control. Apple doesn't innovate shit, they PROUDLY and BLATANTLY steal other people's innovations (i.e. multitouch), patent it, and claim they came up with the idea.
Software patents need to be done away with.
I hope Google/Motorola destroy Apple in their suit. That's the only way i think we'll ever get reform.
Also, apparently, the jury is fucking retarded, so it's no surprise Apple won. I guess Apple was able to smartly strike any juror that had any technologically competent bone in their body and all the dumbass apple fanboys stacked the jury:

Judge Koh is back in the courtroom. There are at least two problems with the verdict form.

The jury appears to have awarded damages for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE infringing — $219,694 worth — but didn't find that it had actually infringed anything.

A similar inconsistency exists for the Intercept, for which they'd awarded Apple over $2 million.
