Where do you find wallpapers this large? I have 2x 27" iMacs (2.66GHz i5, 8GB, 1TB), and a 30" Apple HD Monitor and I just have the default wallpapers with a cyan filter on them so it looks like the server backgrounds.

1) Black

2) Neutral Gray

I use primarily these two colors to fill the screen. Black color avoid pixel burn-outs and Gray is for professional grading in Photoshop environments. It is not that my life is dull, but I prefer to not spend time more than necessary.

Deviant Art usually has high res wallpapers, as well as mandolux.com, I was lazy and its a 2560x1600 image that I found and didn't bother to resize it.

Sadly that's the machine I have to use at work and not at home. But I rarely ever see the desktop.

A blue color that is similar to the default blue background of the Windows Classic theme in XP. I almost never see it anyway.

You had to change the name of your hard drive to "Macintosh HDD"? 😀 I've always thought it was curious that HDD has become the accepted abbreviation; I've never in my life heard someone say "hard disk drive," it's always "hard disk" or "hard drive." Abbreviating it as HD makes more sense IMO.

I would imagine that nowadays, with the prevalence of the HD moniker to denote High Definition, a little bit of distinction is welcome.

Interfacelift is where I found a bunch of wallpapers for my 27" Cinema Display.
