Apple uses Windows for critical work

Not to surprising as most of the software would probably be windows or linux flavor

But what is odd, it seems to be WinXP by the look of it too
 
It's got XP's colors, but it looks like Win7's ginormous icons in the taskbar. Hard to tell from the pic though.
 
Well, if you want reliability, there is no substitute for commercially produced, propriety software.

it's hard to go with a single OS when it comes to any large scale operation with systems and components coming from all sorts of places. os x was never very big outside of the consumer market and a small number of specialized sectors anyway.

also everybody uses linux i'm sure 😉
 
This is not surprising, a lot of manufacturing equipment runs Windows or Linux. It's the nature of the business. Just like how MS, and the companies they hire, uses Macs to produce advertisements.
 
Running Windows I'm not surprised at. Building this thing (or assembling) in the USA....I'm shocked!
