I just bought the 13'' 2.26 MBP. I figure I can just upgrade the RAM myself and perhaps the HD as well, though I have an external I can use. The $300 bump to 2.53 is just not worth it to me.

Are there any places online that show you how to upgrade ram in the new MBP? All the ones I've found show you with the last MBP with the removeable battery.

if its like the unibody 17" mbp, then i think you just have to remove 8 screws and you get full access to the battery, hd, and memory!

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1270 - that shows a diagram for the 17", maybe its the same for the 13"...

I think it is 10 screws on the new MBPs, but the process is the exact same otherwise.
