They both suck balls, buy/build a HTCP with a dual tuner card or use Silicon Dust's HD Homerun (allows you to get a HDTV signal to all computers on your network), a big HD, Windows 7 Home Premium with Windows Media Center, and you'll be ahead of the game while the 2 platforms mature.

A couple of years and I may well hold a different opinion, but for now, I wouldn't waste my time...

Enjoying my HTPC running Win7 Pro plugged into our 32" TV. Using our HDHomerun. Couple bonus points as well--Windows Home Server with 300+ DVDs ripped so far (in that compact format of straight folder rips with duplication enabled :awe:) as well as a Linksys Extender in our bedroom with the 26" TV.

Things work pretty good...happy with it for sure.

eh...I use MyMovies and just take a pile downstairs and swap a new one in whenever I'm in the basement. When I was laid off things were going faster that's for sure :sneaky: Back to work again and newborn--not so fast currently :hmm:

My brother ripped his whole DVD collection which was about 600 DVDs. It's a pain to go through it on Apple TV as Apple TV only allows basic categories.
