Including TV volume control?

My TV (Sony KDL-52XBR2) was one of the early 1080p sets and there was no such thing as HDMI CEC control at the time. The damn thing just won't die. I love that my Apple TV's Siri remote uses discrete codes to power the TV on/off and and adjust volume. There's not even any remote control setup option on the ATV4. It must have detected my TV brand via PnP or something.
Yep.

My vote goes to the Roku 3, if for no other reason (and there are plenty more) than it's remote supports headphones/buds. I can listen as loud as I like without disturbing a soul, and running Plex, it has proven to be my go to solution for streaming anything.

To be fair, you can do this with the headphones with most of the major devices, my Shield supports this same feature. Shouldn't be a totally deciding factor.

Apple TV 4 supports Bluetooth, but I haven't tried it.
