Apple will release Snow Leopard for non-Apple hardware, namely since there is no such thing as Apple hardware. There's Intel, nVidia, ATI, Samsung, Seagate, Crucial, Western Digital, etc. etc. etc..... 😛

That's my argument about the Apple EULA. If I slap it in an Apple case, does that still violate the terms?

Actually, since the motherboard is commonly considered the "computer" by software vendors trying to tie it to hardware (probably taking from the BATF rule that the receiver is the firearm for statutory purposes), who is Apple's motherboard OEM?
