At work, I have a Apple Studio Display 21" that I replaced my 21" Mitsubishi for. It's really nice and very sharp, and I picked it over some Sun 21" monitors because of it's slightly shorter neck won't take up as much desk space and quality of text is sharper when compared, but still not sharper than my dual setup 1800FP LCD at home 
In the system, I have a TNT vid card. There are no adjustments to stretch the screen size, only to move the screen around. I don't remember it but my nvidia card drivers at home don't seem to have this neither.
Is there a utility to stretch the screen size? I'm getting tired of the empty boarders around my screen!
