Hey everyone,

i am currently looking for some nice speakers for my ipod. Since there are so many offered, I was wondering if someone could give me any advice?

Shouldn´t be more than $100. Thanks in advance!

I've got most brilliant advise from Runawayprisoner on this forum about the speakers. For some serious SQ for desktop speakers get the pair of Audioengine A2 speakers. You need to spend double the requested amount. It's $200. Best sounding speakers I have heard. It's an audiophile grade monitors.

You will thank me later. :awe:

Disregard cheez. He doesn't realize that
$200 > $100 by 100%

How much space do you have? Are you looking for aesthetics or sound quality?
I say get bookshelf speakers + amp.

Speaker options: (Sale prices shown)
Sony SS-B1000 $50
Pioneer SP-BS21-LR $50
Polk Audio Monitor30 $80
Polk Audio RTi4 $100
+
Stereo amp
$22+ on parts-express.com

In my post, I clearly said "spend double the amount" for a real pair of speakers, and that I said you will thank me for recommending it. It appears you didn't even read except for checking on the link I posted above, young man....

Behringer MS20 if you want to fill a smaller room. MS40 for a bigger room.

The MS20s are around $150, but you can find them for ~$100 if you shop agressively.

They are not an iPod dock, just very good studio monitors.
