Guess all you tightwads who would rather buy a used car than an iPhone can finally quit complaining now ;)

this doesn't really sound very impressive to me - considering the iPhone already has the storage capacity of a nano as it is, I can only imagine what they are gonna have to cut in order to cut the price in half - it probably won't be an even remotely "smart" phone, but rather just a very pretty music phone. I personally hope that apple starts moving its iPhone technology to its iPods - a wifi, widescreen iPod with some PDA capabilities would sell like wildfire. Plus, without all the phone hardware, they should probably have enough room to fit a HDD in there so that you can actually store more than a few movies on the damn thing.

Music Phones are crap. All of them. Pick any - it's crap. Playing music on all of my previous phones was such a hassle; I'd love a basic phone with a touchwheel to control the music. I really like this concept a lot: (takes a minute to load)

meh.. the big touch screen is what makes the iPhone appealing to me. I already have 2 iPods and would probably never use an iPhone for a music player with any regularity.
I'm more interested in the phone/web functions.

If anything I'd like to see a full size iPhone with LESS built-in storage and a card slot.

I was trying to give a scenario for a lower priced device. ;)
