I have a Sony MXS20 P4 and am running a Apple 17" flat screen monitor on it using the ADC to DVI converter. The video card on my system is a Ge Force2 MX/MX 400 Bios version 3.11.00.18 driver info 6.13.10.1630. Best monitor in the market in my opinion - running it on here for past year.

I need some help though. When windows XP installs updates, it seems to have messed with my monitor. The top portion of the monitor "dulls" a bit making it not as vibrant. On one update (4 months ago) I went back and rolled back any video driver updates and it brought the monitor back to it's vibrant self. Months later another XP update, dull screen effect, and can't roll the drivers back - or its telling me that's not the problem since I can't roll back even in safe mode. I kno the monitor is still good and crisp because when I first restart the machine, the monitor comes on crisp - then after a few minutes while windows completes loading Norton and eveything, it fades to dull at the top.

Any help in troubleshooting is appreciated. My eyes hurt but I love this monitor. Damn Microsoft XP!! Thanks so much in advance.

Which one in that link to I dowload? Sorry, I'm a bit confused. There's a graphic driver, WDM driver and then there's one that doesn't say anything. 3 choices which is the right one for this ailment.

Thanks
