Apple making servers now?

Maybe they have been all along and I never knew it, but I got one of those mini CDW catalogs in the mail, and it's got an Apple pizza box server in it! It's also got an Apple SAN! The server is running dual G5 processors, doesn't look like they're any different than their power pc procs. Well anyway, thought this was interesting and wondered if anybody else has seen them or perhaps is using them.
 
Yeah. Virginia Tech made a supercomputer with a 1100 of those apple XServes, (were originally G5s, then upgraded). They're pretty nifty.
