Im looking for a way to see if it is possible to view a list or see the file names of the attachments added to a new mail message instead of icons.

as when adding multiple attachments it makes it hard to see the file names.

I know thunderbird and eudora allows this but cannot seem to fine it in mail

use thunderbird.

Well, that was helpful. Thank you for your informative and insightful remark.

To the OP, I have been looking a little through Mail's options and what not, and I am not finding it, not to say that it isn't there. The truth is, I never send nor receive many attachments, so I have never had to look before.

That was what I might have to get my customer to do, I've looked high and low in mail itself and couldn't find it either
