Apple LCDs work on PC's??

hey, i think apple lcds are just too sweet lookin, and i'm curious if they can be plugged in to work on a pc?

you have to buy an adaptor i think they cost about 40 bucks there spilt the one connect the apple screen has into 2

because the apple screen draw there power thorugh one cable i belive

He means the connector is split into two, so that you get DVI and power, since ADC draws power for the monitor through the connector.

You need the ADC-DVI converter box, then it works OK. For the smaller CinemaDisplay, you need to make the graphics card driver do 1680x1050 pixels, else you'll end up with a black border. NVidia's driver lets you add the resolution manually, ATi drivers should auto-detect. I've seen the former at work, looks great.

However the very same LCD panels are also available in directly attachable DVI style, from Sony if I remember correctly.
