A friend of mine will go from Mac to PC...however, his Apple laser printer ain't something that he really wanna abandon.

So I would like to know if there is any way to make an Apple laser printer work under PC platform/OS, sucn as Win2K or Win98. I know the connector for laser printer to Mac is a port somehow looks like PS-2 port...but I dont' know if any kind of "convertor" can be purchased...

Please help me out.

you will need to conmtact the manufacture of the printer, as not only will you pyhsicaly need to attach the printer, but will also require driver for it under win98/2k etc.

I know USB printers can run under both platforms not sure about other types... :)

Thanks...but I think this one probably can't cut it...it's a LaserWriter Select 300...only 360 is supported in Win2K.

Laser Writers utilize the LocalTalk port. There's no chance in hell you can make those work on a PC.
