Apple Laptop Shipment Time?

So i just ordered a macbook pro from apple. I live in canada and i was wondering what your turn around time for recieving it has been? they are currently telling me a little over 2 weeks. I find this extremely long and wonder if this is the same for everyone else.

I can't say how long it will take to ship from Apple, but I bought from Amazon, and I got it in two days. I know it doesn't answer your question, but maybe you want to cancel the order through Apple and buy from Amazon.
 
i don't know. in some of the review i read about the new LED backlit MacBook Pros, they said that apple's site claimed 2-4 weeks shipping time but it actually only took a few days. i think (and hope for you) that they are simply covering their ass. 2 weeks is a long time. hopefully, you should have it sooner. no promises though. this is simply what i read in some reviews.
