Has anyone used this feature with positive results? I'm a little weary of it, just seems like a very easy way to openly admit and report all the downloaded music you *may* have

If you're weary of it, just stop using it for awhile. A little break may rekindle that old spark ;^)

How would that be admitting to music downloads? Just because it's on your computer doesn't mean you pirated it. People do still rip their own CDs ya know.

It's great, I love the feature, played with it for a while and it's really good to discovered music in my library i haven't listened to in a while. The only reason i dont use it is itunes is very, very slow handling big libraries of music and I have a zune so I cant sync on itunes.

lol they don't, they already made it clear they don't report your stuff to the riaa when using coverflow for instance, that was even further back. no one would have used things like cover flow if they were narcing on ya

no, i agree, and i'm sure there are plenty of other easy ways to figure out that the 40,000+ songs on someone's machine aren't all ripped from cd's BUT for some reason this one made me more paranoid than normal

as far as how the feature works -- is it cool? i do notice that itunes is very slow when dealing with my large library

it makes some really good playlists...I'm a pretty big fan of it because of that, although I don't listen to its recommendations of songs to purchase
