Here is the Google thread on the phone spontaneously deleting texts. IMO, this is the single most unacceptable thing I have ever encountered with any phone. It is absolutely outrageous. If I wasn't locked into a two year contract, and didn't enjoy some of the other features of the phone so much, I would happily go back to my Blackberry. I still had the activation texts in my Blackberry from two years prior, for fuck's sake. Completely unacceptable, and it boggles the mind why this wasn't fixed immediately.

FWIW, my phone is completely stock, with no non-market apps installed. And I'm not exactly stupid when it comes to using software.. I understand other people probably haven't had the same problems, but there is no way this is user error.

So the first one got announced 7 hours ago TODAY, 1 DAY AFTER my original post. Was I supposed to read into the future about a real tablet finally being announced?

We will finally get to see if all the phandroids claims about it vastly outselling the iPad are true.

Actually the galaxy tab has been known about for quite awhile and Samsung has been going all over showing it off. We've known prices longer than this thread has been around.(at least European prices).
