Seems like a good deal. I've wanted one, but didn't think I ever would as it would be a luxury item, therefore I've never researched them all that much. I believe they changed connectors at some point? Reason I ask is that I know there are a lot of audio and musician uses, which is what I'd be looking at them for in part...that need a certain connector? Maybe the "camera kit" connector or something like that. I just know you can't get too old of one. Also not sure how old you can go before they are just too slow?

I think older versions also had some poor management of RAM in Safari...I think...

Anyhow, for using as a Control Surface for Logic, some other musical uses, maybe as a surface for Photoshop...I think they have some Wacom type apps for them, not sure....and just to use with home theater and audio for pulling stuff up and as a remote, what would be sufficient?

Mostly interested for it for the home theater and running the Logic remote if running actual production apps causes me to have to spend a ton more dough.

Edited to add...I believe it's the Lightning port that's needed.

Looks like most of these are sold out. Probably the more desirable models.

Those are pretty high prices, they are trying to pawn off several generations old ones while displaying the "retail" price as that of when they were new.

Also, given they have only 90 day warranties, I would say Apple refurbs would be a much better way to go.
