Apple introduces iTunes DJ

I always liked party shuffle but it never seemed to get the love it deserved, hopefully this draws some much needed attention to it!

This is what used to be known as "Party Shuffle" in older versions of iTunes. Basically it allows guests to request songs with Remote for iPhone or iPod Touch. You can vote on songs to be played and add stuff to the que. I like it!

Queue is spelled q-u-e-u-e 🙂

But this definitely sounds cool... if you know, I threw parties, and if all my friends had iPhones/iPod Touches (2 of them do, but that is it), and finally; if I actually let my friend's dictate musical choice terms to me.

I am the Fidel Castro of the playlist. I say what plays when!

MrChad - it requires the Remote app for people to be able to vote on sh!t, it's my understanding that the Remote app is only for Macs. I don't see any use for this feature if people can't vote.

*EDIT* Ok I'm lazy & stupid, I checked on iTunes and Remote works with the PC I just installed it. Now I just have to have a party, and make sure I invite only people with iPhones and good taste in music.

pretty neat idea, wish there was a way to only let people see certain play lists though, I'd love to able to make a Dj specific play list and that's all they can requests songs from, not my entire damn library. I was using it last night to control my iTunes from my bed.
