I have had a family friend call me about their son' laptop. They are having a problem with their laptop that they have recently acquired. For some reason it will not burn CD's or read DVD's.
It does have an internal DVD/CD-RW drive and the Apple proprietary burning software installed. The drive is being recognized by the comp, but they it will not read as anything other than a CD-ROM.
I know absolutely nothing about Mac's so any help anyone can give me I would greatly appreciate it.
