Apple financing

I was interested in purchasing a Macbook now that I'm in a comfortable new job. I was interested in buying a black Macbook with some fixings, but didn't want to put the entire amount down at the time of purchase. One thing I noticed was that Apple offers the Juniper credit card with iTunes rewards for financing. Has anyone used the card and know anything about the monthly installments? Do they actually exist? I tried reading all the details but didn't really see anything about it at all even though Apple advertises it on their site.

Yes, I'm a newb with credit cards. The only card I've ever had was a CompUSA credit card, which I can no longer use for *certain* reasons. My credit is pretty good, so I don't think it'll be an issue getting approved and I don't want to sign up and get screwed by them.

Anyone have any experience with the Juniper bank, also?

Thanks much for your help.

I have one and I bought my MBP with it. They offered a 90 interest free period and I paid it all off during that time. The interest rate however is really high (around 23% for me and I have good credit).

Thanks for the reply. Anyone else have any information on this card, or know about monthly installments and whether they are actually possible?

I have the card and used it to purchase my original MacBook. It works like any other credit card, you make a pruchase and then the monthly payments are determined based on a percentage of the amount you purchased (which can be figured out pretty accurately beforehand if you read the fine print). I did the same kind of deal Keitero did and paid mine off in full befire the 90 day interest free period was up. Juniper is pretty legit, never had any problems with the card and I am constanty getting credit line increases, so it's not a bad card to have to take advantage of promos. I wouldn't carry a balance as previously stated for too long, as the APR is pretty high for me as well, 17.49% or something I believe. Otherwise, enjoy your new Blackbook!
