This thread is just further proof that Apple haters are just a bunch dickwards with a giant dildo stuck up their derriere (without lube).

Gotta spread the hate no matter how ridiculous it sounds, amirite?

This is why people dont like apple fan boys.
Facts are considered "ridiculous" in your world.
Also, you use disgusting insults way too often. You are part of whats wrong with America.

Just start using "we" for everything else... and I mean everything.

You don't feel attached to the company you work for? If my place does well, or shitty, I say "we've been doing well" or "we've been doing terrible". Regardless of if it's really my doing or not. If you don't even feel like part of your company then you're going to be miserable.

You're the weird one OP

I heard that when you buy an Apple product and open it up for the 1st time, you get full blown AIDS and a face full of hot sharp metal.

And people STILL buy these fucking things!! The brain washing is so powerful, it's insane!!

When his cult leader departs this earthly vale, will he walk around saying "We just died"?

FWIW, my brother is an Apple enthusiast. I have never know anyone so ignorant of anything outside the technology he uses. He still calls my Android phone a Blackberry and thinks WinXP is the current state of PCs. Pretty sad, really.

Hey, I meant to say ducklings! But you should also google dickward ;)

Sarcasm aside, what Apple does as a company shouldnt warrant the poor behavior Apple haters are displaying. Some discussions can be fun and interesting, but most of the time, they turn into an ego contest about specs or who is the isheep. The OP is a very fine example of that, and there are scores of others with such narrow mind here and on dailytech. I get it that everyone wants to justify the stuff they buy and use, but anti Mac guys are by far the most condescending.

I guess it's also the raw nature of the Internet, but I wish some people could show some restrain when it come vitriolic content. Look at the Steve Jobs cancer thread, there is quite a handful of foul mouths that would never get away with such comments in real life there.

Apple diehards are pretty brainwashed and Apple abuses the bejeuzus out of them. Apple holds back so many features just so they can release a new model in 12-18 months and milk a little more out of their loyalists.

Once Apple's company size outgrows it's ability to market itself as the underdog, you'll see the fanbois turning coat pretty quick. How long they've held out so far is quite a testiment to how good Apple's marketing team is.

EDIT: I like some Apple products, but Apple markets everything as game-changing additions and the fanbois lap it up and buy the new iWhatever, regardless of how useless the additions are. "iPad3, now with a back-hair trimmer! You'll never surf the internet the same way again!"

Most people working for a company are supposed to refer to anything company-related as "We/Us/The Company".

A friend of mine recently got a job at the local Mac store. Now he and I have butted heads on the typical Mac vs. PC junk and continue to do so. Yesterday I saw him for the first time since he got this job and he engaged me in our typical banter:

"Well WE invented the mouse first"

According to him Apple employees are encouraged to say "we" when referring to Apple. Has anyone else encountered this? Or is he going insane and I need to get him away from the shiny white products?

I don't get why people get so militant about computer hardware and operating systems. I own PCs and I own Apple products. I don't have any particular brand loyalty or criticisms of either one (well, except Apple computers are too expensive).

I recommend you just have a beer with him and talk about chicks and football instead.

I use "we" often when referring to work stuff. I avoid it and try to take an objective stance when in personal settings. I try to keep my own opinions on tech stuff.

At the Bank my wife works at, they've given pretty much all non-teller employees Vice-President titles. I.E. - Vice-President of Teller Training, Vice-President of Branch Help, etc... It's so stupid. They started with the financial planners and now pretty much everyone is a vice-president.

That should look good at a resume, if anything. :p
