<< Good for word bad for gaming hehe >>

It's really irrelevant because you can get a standard VGA monitor, which people would buy separately anyway (without having to pay for a TFT).

He never said "CONFIRMED" (for once), but we should all know by now that Hardware never posts links, he's completely USELESS in that field.

He posted one yesterday.

A more correct answer would be hardware rarely posts links.

From what I understand, LCD prices in the next few months will drop substantially.

Sam's Club has a 15" KDS TFT for $399 so they are coming down. While mac hasn't been a great gaming platform (so not really much lost there), they are a big photo editing platform. I didn't think the color saturation on the TFT were very good compared to a CRT. Am I correct in this? I've had limited usage of TFTs other than laptop displays.

This has been discussed in many other places. CRT's are a very low yield item for apple. Already people are buying CRT's from places other then apple to save money. So apple drops CRT's, people that want a big CRT monitor purchase elsewhere, people that want a unique TFT buy it from apple.
